Even as a kid, I loved playing outside. (Probably because Atari wasn’t a thing yet!) Once the rain stopped and it warmed up a little, we’d ride our bikes into town or hike up and down the river, hunting crawdads with a shoelace and a piece of hotdog.

When I got old enough to drive, I was still all about getting outside instead of playing video games. We’d go camping, do some fishing, grill up some chicken, and of course, enjoy a few adult beverages around the fire pit.

As an adult, not much has changed. The only difference now is I can afford some better gear, like a real tent and all the essentials to cook a great meal outdoors. I made this site to share some of the fun outdoor things I did and still want to do and, hopefully, connect with others who love the same things.
